i quit

do you have a hard time quitting jobs? is it so incredibly awkward for you to just come out and quit or is it no big deal for you. i had a friend once tell me that she has no shame. if she hates a job, she just stops showing up. no two weeks notice, not even a phone call, just stops coming. she says it's their fault for not having a good working environment, or treating their employees right, etc. kind of hilarious, but still pretty messed up to not show. i just quit my job at a salon after two days of working. it was such a nightmare of an experience though, that i had no problems with saying "i quit". i will have to tell you what happened sometime. you will surely die at the insanity of it all.

i made a "big announcement" over here on my hair blog yesterday. check it out, i need your support.

I just stopped showing up at a night job once, but usually I try to give notice. I did, however, leave with 15+ employee's all at once because we were mad at the management. They didn't even see it coming... It was kinda like a strike except we forgot to go back after our conditions were met . . . and our conditions were never met . . . and we weren't a union.

noooo way. the closest i ever came to something like that was leaving with several other classmates from a class in high school when the teacher hadn't shown up after 10 minutes. There's always a couple of nerds that stick around and stay in class. but that story isn't nearly as cool as yours.

Dude!! I love the rule that if the teacher isn't there 10-15 min after class starts you can leave.
